Shell & Weather Rating
Define the actual use: light rain, daily commute or serious weather. Waterproof rating, seam taping and zipper spec all follow from this decision — and move the price significantly.
Insulation Spec
Down vs synthetic, fill weight per zone, quilting pattern. Send a reference jacket if warmth target matters — we match loft and weight by measuring the original.
Hardware & Trims
Zippers (YKK/SBS), snaps, drawcords, cord locks and velcro are quoted separately and vary 3–5x in cost between standard and premium. Confirm hardware grade at quote stage.
Fit Over Layers
Outerwear is worn over other garments. Chest and armhole ease must account for layering — confirm whether the jacket fits over a tee or a hoodie, and we grade accordingly.

MOQ is 100 pieces per style for outerwear due to multi-component construction (shell, lining, insulation, hardware). Complex technical jackets may require 200+ pieces.
How much does a custom puffer jacket cost?
FOB price runs $18–35 depending on fill type, shell fabric and hardware. Down fill adds $4–8 over synthetic. Premium zippers and taped seams add $2–4 per jacket.
How long does outerwear production take?
Sampling 10–14 days, bulk 35–50 days. Outerwear has the longest lead time of our categories due to component sourcing — start development 4+ months before your season.
Can you make waterproof jackets?
Yes. We build to a specified hydrostatic head rating (3,000–10,000mm), with full or critical-seam taping and water-resistant zippers. Test reports provided with your pre-production sample.
